Confirmation Program

Our Confirmation program includes retreats for all grades – an overnight for the 6^th graders and a two night retreat for the 7^th and 8^th graders together. The program primarily happens on Sunday mornings, with Confirmation education happening during the Sunday Church School time slot (9:30-10:45A.M..).

Throughout the year, each grade focuses on a different section of the Bible. In the winter, each class takes time to focus on different parts of Luther’s Small Catechism. Special classes with the pastor, lay teachers, students and parents together happen throughout the year as scheduled on  Sunday afternoons. Service projects and worship are also an important aspect of the Confirmation program. Group and individual service and worship opportunities are provided regularly, and worship notes are a required part of the program for all four grades.
